Eurotel Provides Medical and School Supplies for Students

EUROTEL, one of the biggest hotel chains in the country, has recently distributed more than 2,000 medical and school supplies to various schools in the NCR led by Mr. Ronaldo Sebastian, Eurotel Sector Head.

Among other things, the school supplies include pencils, pens, writing pads, bond paper, and notebooks. Additionally, Eurotel also provided medical supplies to the beneficiaries to keep them away from COVID-19.

The Philippines’ Department of Education (DepEd) has announced the formal opening of classes in August 2022. The students have the option of attending physical (face-to-face classes) or modular (virtual classes), depending on the COVID-19 situation in the neighborhood, as long as it continues to be a threat to their health.

“High-quality education is the foundation of a child’s life. It is what drives them to grow with wisdom and intelligence. This is the main reason why Eurotel supports these kinds of activities. We are giving back to the community, and by providing school supplies to the kids, we will help the parents budget their income because they can spend the money on other necessities, such as food, rather than school supplies,” according to Mr. Sebastian.

One of Eurotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts is in education. As a concerned corporate citizen, the company sees helping to educate young people as one way to show its concern, particularly in the communities where it operates.
