Connecting Communities, One Hub at a Time

The Globe team led by Territory Business Head Jil de Castro together with Active Asia Inc. General Manager Dominic Bagavaldo, Emviem Owner Maribel Mallari, and Mahabang Parang barangay captain Melencio Villangca at the new hub in Angono.

Access to reliable internet has become a necessity for modern life, supporting everything from online learning and remote work to business operations and everyday communication. Recognizing this growing need, Globe is bringing its broadband services closer to communities through the opening of a new Onsite Distribution Operations (OSDO) hub in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal.

The new facility serves as a convenient customer access point where residents can apply for Globe At Home services, purchase prepaid products, make inquiries, and receive customer support without having to travel far from their neighborhoods. Designed to serve not only Angono but also nearby communities across Rizal, the hub reflects Globe’s ongoing efforts to make connectivity solutions more accessible to Filipinos.

Situated in Angono, widely recognized as the Art Capital of the Philippines, the hub forms part of Globe’s larger strategy of establishing community-based service centers nationwide. By creating localized touchpoints, the company aims to provide faster assistance, improve customer convenience, and strengthen engagement with the communities it serves.

The new Globe Onsite Distribution Operations (OSDO) hub in Barangay Mahabang Parang, Angono, Rizal, serves as a dedicated customer touchpoint for local residents. The facility offers convenient access to Globe At Home applications, prepaid transactions, and customer support services, operating daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

For families, students, entrepreneurs, and remote workers who depend on stable internet connections, having a nearby service hub offers a more convenient way to access digital solutions and support. As more Filipinos embrace digital lifestyles, the demand for dependable connectivity continues to grow, particularly in developing residential areas outside major urban centers.

“We are expanding affordable internet services to as many households and communities as possible. As Filipinos continue to embrace digital lifestyles, it becomes even more important for Globe to bring our services closer to where our customers live and work,” said Jil De Castro, Globe Territory Business Head.

The hub was formally inaugurated through a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Globe executives, business partners, and local government representatives. Among those present were Globe officials, EMVIEM CEO Maribel Mallari, and Barangay Captain Melencio Villa together with members of the barangay council.

Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Angono hub offers access to Globe At Home, Globe Prepaid, TM, and GOMO products and services. As Globe continues expanding its network of community hubs across the country, the company also aims to support digital inclusion initiatives, local livelihood programs, disaster response efforts, and digital education projects, helping more Filipinos stay connected and empowered in an increasingly digital world.
