SM Prime Holdings, Inc. is expanding its footprint in the entertainment and events industry with the upcoming opening of the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, a large-scale venue scheduled to welcome its first audiences in June 2026. Positioned as one of the country’s largest indoor arenas, the project signals Cebu’s growing importance as a regional destination for concerts, sporting events, conventions, and international productions.
Following the success of the SM Mall of Asia Arena, SM Prime is bringing a similar world-class entertainment experience to the Visayas. The company sees Cebu as a strategic growth hub capable of attracting both local and international events while contributing to tourism and economic activity in the region.

Rising seven storeys high and accommodating up to 25,000 guests, the arena has been designed with flexibility in mind. Its adaptable event bowl allows organizers to transform the space for large concerts, sporting competitions, corporate gatherings, and smaller-scale productions. This versatility is expected to make the venue attractive to promoters seeking modern facilities outside Metro Manila.
The arena will also feature advanced production and viewing technology, including one of the country’s most sophisticated center-hung displays paired with immersive LED ribbon boards that provide audiences with a full 360-degree visual experience. High-capacity digital infrastructure and 5G connectivity are integrated into the design to support live streaming, real-time audience interaction, and large-scale production requirements.
Beyond the main event space, the facility includes premium suites for corporate guests, practice courts for performers and athletes, and multi-purpose function areas that can serve as breakout rooms or private event spaces. Its location within the SM Seaside Complex further strengthens its appeal by providing direct access to retail, dining, transportation, and hospitality establishments.
Even before its official launch, the arena has already secured a strong lineup of events and performances. Filipino pop group BINI, rock band IV of Spades, singers TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan, as well as international act LANY are among the first confirmed performers set to take the stage in 2026.
