Canon Philippines Celebrates Uncompromised Storytelling with EOS R6 Mark III Launch

Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. gathered media professionals and creators for “Uncompromised Storytelling in Every Frame”, the launch of the Canon EOS R6 Mark III held on November 21, 2025, at Gallio, Aseana City. The event underscored Canon’s commitment to supporting the Philippines’ expanding creator community.

The EOS R6 Mark III delivers three key features for modern creators. The 7K 60p RAW video recording and EOS R series-first 3:2 Open Gate mode make it easy to capture content that works seamlessly across different formats and platforms. The camera also pairs a sharp 32.5-megapixel sensor with 40 fps shooting, grabbing up to 150 shots in rapid succession. Lastly, the pre-continuous shooting feature grabs up to 20 frames before pressing the shutter, helping creators capture moments proactively.

Attendees explored the camera’s capabilities through hands-on stations and live demos, experiencing how the EOS R6 Mark III enhances professional storytelling. Canon executives and guest creators also shared perspectives on the future of content creation in the Philippines.

“We continue to be inspired by storytellers who push creative boundaries every day,” said Anuj Aggarwal, President & CEO of Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. “The EOS R6 Mark III reflects our belief that technology should elevate creative expression.”

“At Canon, we build innovations that help creators work smarter and refine their craft,” added Jian Liu, Director of the Consumer Imaging and Information Division.

Celebrity wedding photographer and storyteller Pat Dy highlighted the growing potential of the creator community, noting that “There are so many stories waiting to be told, and tools like the EOS R6 Mark III inspire us to keep creating.”

As the Philippines’ creative landscape continues to grow, Canon remains committed to providing world-class tools that empower filmmakers, photographers, and visual storytellers. The EOS R6 Mark III stands as Canon’s latest milestone in helping creators produce stories that move, inspire, and connect.
