Filipino athletes preparing to compete on the international stage received a strong show of support as Bell-Kenz Pharma joined the Philippine Coast Guard Special Service Center (CGSSC) in a send-off honoring their dedication, discipline, and commitment to representing the country.
The gathering recognized athletes from different sporting disciplines who are preparing for major competitions abroad, highlighting not only their pursuit of athletic excellence but also the years of training and sacrifice behind every international appearance.
Pole vaulter Riezel Buenaventura, supported by Enplus Gold, is among those carrying the Philippine flag overseas. She is competing at the 2026 World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea, scheduled from August 22 to September 3.
Buenaventura brings considerable international experience to the competition. She won a silver medal at the 2024 World Masters Athletics Championships in Sweden and followed it with a sixth-place finish at the 2025 World Masters Indoor Championships in the United States.

Other Filipino athletes preparing for international competition include Olympic silver medalist Nesthy Petecio and two-time Olympian Elreen Ando, who are set to participate in the 20th Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games in Japan. Judoka Khrizzie Pabulayan and beach volleyball player Lerry John Francisco are also expected to represent the country against some of Asia’s leading athletes.
Despite competing in different sports, the athletes share the responsibility of representing the Philippines and demonstrating the discipline required to perform at an elite level.
As part of its support, Bell-Kenz Pharma is providing nutraceutical assistance designed to complement the athletes’ training, recovery, and competition preparations, in coordination with their respective coaches and medical teams.
The initiative also underscores the importance of maintaining physical health and overall wellness among athletes, particularly those balancing the responsibilities of public service with demanding training schedules.
“Our Coast Guard athletes demonstrate that service to the country can take many forms. Whether they are responding to emergencies or competing on the world stage, they carry the same discipline, courage and commitment. Bell-Kenz Pharma is proud to support their health and wellness as they represent the Philippines,” said Patrick Larraga, Corporate Branding and Public Affairs Head of Bell-Kenz Pharma.
The collaboration forms part of Bell-Kenz Pharma’s broader efforts to support programs centered on health, wellness, preparedness, and excellence. It also strengthens its partnership with the Philippine Coast Guard in promoting the well-being of personnel both in service and in sporting pursuits.
As the athletes embark on their international campaigns, Bell-Kenz Pharma and the Philippine Coast Guard are encouraging Filipinos to support them as they pursue medals, personal milestones, and national pride.
Beyond the competition venues, their participation represents something larger—the opportunity to carry the Philippine flag and showcase Filipino determination before the world.
