BAVI Donates P3 Million to Support the Out-of-School Youth

Bounty Agro Ventures, Inc. (BAVI), the company behind Chooks-to-Go, extended help to out-of-school youth nominated by Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno under the care of Father Al’s Children Foundation which runs the Sisters of Mary Boystowns and Girlstowns

Handing the donation of P3,000,000 to Mayor Isko Moreno were BAVI President Ronald R. Mascariñas and BAVI Chairman Tennyson Chen

BAVI Chairman and Bounty Fresh Foods, Inc. President Tennyson Chen also committed to donate at least 20,000 kgs of dressed chicken to the designated community pantries of Mayor Isko.

“Una, maraming salamat sa Diyos at maraming salamat sa Chooks-to-Go family for your continued trust in me to endorse your product. I hope everyone will continue to take Chooks-to-Go kasi madami silang natutulungan. In this case, mga kabataan na out-of-school youth ang makikinabang sa donation na three-million pesos ng Chooks-to-Go.” expressed Moreno.

“At the same time, ‘yung Bounty Fresh Foods tutulungan ‘yung mga taga-Maynila na makatikim ng buong manok,” said Moreno.

“Ako noong araw, tirang manok tinitira ko — ‘yung pagpag,” he quipped. “But I’m really happy and grateful to the Bounty family. Being man for others is what we need nowadays.”

Moreno shared that he hopes that more companies follow the lead of companies like BAVI to help out in these trying times as it will bring hope to every Filipino.

“Mag-iingat po kayo at ‘wag kayo mawalan ng pag-asa. Madaming nawawalan ng trabaho, ang daming nagbabawas ng engka (kain). But hold on, may awa ang Diyos at makakaraos tayo. Manalig lang tayo at tulong-tulong lang tayo. Makakaraos din tayo. Pagtapos ng bagyo, may rainbow.” he said.
