Guests were treated to a private viewing of works by celebrated Filipino artists, including Andres Barrioquinto, Jayson Cortez, Max Balatbat, Martin Honasan, Jason Montinola, and Raffy Napay. Each piece reflected the distinct voices of these artists, offering a rich tapestry of contemporary Filipino art that resonated far beyond its aesthetic value.

At the heart of the evening was a silent auction running until June 7, where 50% of the proceeds were pledged to the Hapag Movement. This program extends far beyond feeding vulnerable communities; it provides sustainable livelihood training to help families break free from the cycle of hunger. The remaining half of the auction’s proceeds supported the participating artists—highlighting Globe’s dual commitment to social impact and nurturing the Philippine creative economy.
A highlight was the featured piece by Andres Barrioquinto, renowned for his surreal portraits that weave together Asian influences, pop culture, and nature. With works displayed in notable collections across Asia and accolades like the CCP’s Thirteen Artists Award, Barrioquinto’s contribution underscored the caliber of the evening’s showcase.

“This is more than a showcase of art—it is a statement of purpose,” shared Roche Vandenberghe, Globe Chief Marketing Officer. “By coming together, we’ve turned an evening of cultural appreciation into tangible support for families battling hunger.”
Beyond the art, guests enjoyed thoughtful touches: a curator’s talk by Stephanie Frondoso, artisanal light fare by Cibo, and curated Globe giveaways that added warmth to the refined gathering.
The exhibit remains open to the public until August 2025, inviting more people to experience and support the cause.

Through this collaboration, Globe continues to create human-centered experiences that inspire compassion and action—proving that art, at its best, doesn’t just reflect society; it helps transform it.
