As the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) marks its 50th golden season, it renews its alliance with ArenaPlus for a third consecutive year—sealing a partnership that celebrates not just history, but the evolving future of sports entertainment in the Philippines.

The renewal was made official at the league’s pre-season press conference held on October 1 in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The event gathered PBA executives, players, and media as Commissioner Willie O. Marcial and ArenaPlus President Rafael Jasper Vicencio signed the agreement—symbolizing a continued shared vision to bring basketball closer to fans across generations.

Making it official: the signing of partnership between the PBA and ArenaPlus.

“Thank you always for ArenaPlus’ support in the PBA,” said Commissioner Marcial, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to making every game more engaging for fans nationwide. ArenaPlus, licensed by PAGCOR, has become the PBA’s trusted digital entertainment partner, providing accessible live coverage, real-time stats, and interactive experiences that elevate the thrill of every play.

This milestone season will unfold over 16 months, featuring the Philippine Cup, Commissioner’s Cup, and Governors’ Cup—each designed to showcase elite competition while aligning with the country’s national team commitments, including the FIBA World Cup qualifiers and the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

Kicking off the golden year was the iconic “Manila Clasico” between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots on October 5 at the SMART Araneta Coliseum—an electrifying matchup streamed live through the ArenaPlus platform.

Beyond the courts, this renewed collaboration represents the merging of tradition and technology, heritage and innovation. As the PBA honors its five-decade legacy of inspiring Filipino athletes, ArenaPlus ensures the passion for basketball thrives in today’s digital era—making the sport more immersive, inclusive, and entertaining for millions of fans.

With the golden ball as its symbol and a new digital frontier as its arena, the PBA’s 50th season stands as a shining tribute to Filipino excellence, unity, and the enduring love for the game that continues to define the nation’s spirit.
