AMA Marks Founder’s 80th Birthday with Unprecedented Tuition Discount

The AMA Education System (AMAES) is turning a milestone celebration into a life-changing opportunity for students. To honor the 80th birthday of its visionary founder, Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V, AMAES is launching the Founder’s Day Grand Discount—an extraordinary offer of 80% off tuition fees exclusively for new enrollees and transferees.

Dubbed the “Father of IT Education in the Philippines,” Dr. Aguiluz dedicated his career to expanding access to innovative, technology-driven learning. This unprecedented discount echoes that legacy by removing one of the biggest barriers to higher education—cost. “This initiative is our way of thanking the Filipino people for their trust in AMA through the decades,” an AMAES spokesperson said.

One Day, One Big Chance

The discount will be available only on September 5, 2025, coinciding with Founder’s Day. It applies for one semester or trimester within the academic year ending July 31, 2026. Slots are limited to 1,000 students nationwide, but those who complete enlistment within the official deadline will still be accommodated.

The coverage includes graduate and undergraduate programs (semester or trimester), Distance Education (DE), and even the Doctor of Medicine program for local students. Senior High School, basic education, bootcamps, and specialized courses are excluded. To qualify, enrollees must meet unit load requirements—9 units for graduate school, 18 for undergraduates, 12 to 18 for DE, and 17 for medicine.

Clear Guidelines for Enrollees

Applicants must pay in full on a cash basis by 11:59 PM of September 5. Installments and existing discounts will not apply. Enlistment opens September 1, following an official announcement on August 25 through AMAES social media platforms.

A Gift of Access and Legacy

For AMAES, the program is more than a promotion—it is a tribute to Dr. Aguiluz’s enduring vision of democratizing quality education. By making such a bold offer, the institution empowers more Filipinos to pursue their academic and career aspirations in an increasingly digital world.

Mark your calendars: September 5, 2025. One founder’s milestone could be the first step toward your own future success.
