Alibaba Cloud has further reinforced its position in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence landscape after being recognized as a Leader in Omdia’s latest Market Radar: Agentic AI Cloud Titans in Asia & Oceania 2026. The recognition highlights the company’s growing influence in the next wave of AI development, particularly in the emerging field of agentic AI, where intelligent systems can independently perform tasks, make decisions, and interact with digital environments.
The industry assessment evaluated major cloud providers across Asia and Oceania based on their technological capabilities, market presence, and long-term strategy. Alibaba Cloud emerged at the forefront of the rankings, securing top marks in six critical categories, including AI infrastructure, model development services, agent-building tools, native agent support, security, and open-source AI innovation.

The recognition reflects Alibaba Cloud’s extensive investments in building a complete ecosystem for agentic AI. Unlike providers that focus on only certain aspects of the AI stack, Alibaba Cloud offers an integrated platform that covers everything from computing infrastructure and AI model development to deployment environments and intelligent applications. Its portfolio includes proprietary AI chips, high-performance computing resources, machine learning platforms, developer tools, and specialized agent frameworks designed to help organizations build and manage intelligent digital assistants.
According to Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Chief Technology Officer and President of International Business Dr. Feifei Li, the recognition validates the company’s vision of reshaping cloud computing around intelligent agents. She emphasized that the company is focused on providing a secure and comprehensive platform that allows enterprises and developers to create scalable AI agents capable of delivering measurable business outcomes.
The timing of the recognition comes as demand for agentic AI accelerates across the region. Omdia forecasts that the Asia and Oceania agentic AI software market will expand dramatically from US$782 million in 2025 to US$11.2 billion by 2030, representing one of the fastest-growing segments in the technology sector. Industries such as information technology, financial services, and retail are expected to drive adoption as organizations seek more advanced automation and decision-making capabilities.
Beyond enterprise applications, the report also notes increasing interest in personal AI agents fueled by the growth of open-source AI technologies. This trend is creating new opportunities for cloud providers capable of supporting both large-scale business deployments and individual developer communities.
To capitalize on this momentum, Alibaba Cloud has continued to expand its AI portfolio. Recent enhancements include the launch of Qwen3.7-Max, a large language model designed for advanced coding, reasoning, and complex task execution. The company has also strengthened its infrastructure through upgrades aimed at supporting large-scale AI workloads and introduced Qwen Cloud, an AI-native platform intended to simplify model deployment and application development.
Alibaba Cloud has likewise introduced new capabilities that allow AI agents to interact more naturally with cloud services. Through a dedicated Skills portal, agents can access functions across dozens of cloud products, helping organizations automate operations involving databases, analytics, security, and system management.
As enterprises increasingly explore agentic AI solutions, Alibaba Cloud’s comprehensive approach positions it as a significant player in shaping how businesses across Asia-Pacific adopt and scale intelligent technologies in the years ahead.
