AI Masterclass Launch: PRSP Collaborates with Global Alliance and SCoRe for ChatGPT Training in PR

The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the country’s premier organization for public relations professionals, is set to host a comprehensive workshop titled AI Masterclass in PR and Communications: A Certification Workshop on ChatGPT Strategic Integration. This initiative promises to equip participants with proper insights and knowledge to harness the transformative power of ChatGPT and various AI tools.

The event is co-organized alongside two prominent global PR and communications organizations and institutions, Global Alliance and the School of Communications and Reputation (SCoRe), an India-based premier institute specializing in the development of education and research in reputation management.

The workshop, open for online and in-person attendees, will commence on September 28, 2024 at Ascott Makati’s Quirino-Garcia function room from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Key discussion points will include a deep dive into ChatGPT and AI technologies, examining their impact on public relations and exploring how these tools can help revolutionize communication strategies. The session will also highlight ChatGPT’s advanced features, such as plugins and extensions, and provide an in-depth analysis of its other innovative elements. Participants will gain valuable insights into using AI for creating diverse media formats, such as images, videos, text and audio, while also focusing on mastering prompt engineering for both general and specialized PR needs.

Ana Pista, Chairperson of ProfDev 2024 and a key figure at PRSP, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “This workshop truly reflects PRSP’s dedication to advancing the field of public relations. I’m immensely grateful to our partners at Global Alliance and SCoRe for extending their support in making this event possible. I’m looking forward to seeing the positive impact this masterclass will have and appreciate everyone’s efforts in bringing it to fruition.”

The workshop will feature Hemant Gaule, co-founder and dean of SCoRe, as the key speaker for the event. Gaule is renowned for his profound expertise in AI applications, training over 2,000 communications professionals and educating more than 200 students globally. His extensive experience in delivering impactful keynotes and workshops on AI makes him a highly anticipated and influential figure at this event.

“I am deeply grateful to Global Alliance and PRSP for including me in this impactful and educational event. I believe this event is a great opportunity to address the ethical considerations of AI and demonstrate how we can leverage this technology to our advantage,” shared Gaule.

The upcoming workshop aligns with PRSP’s PR for All, an ongoing theme underscoring an inclusive and ethical community for both seasoned and emerging professionals in PR. It also highlights PRSP’s broader KNow Movement campaign which addresses the issues of career stagnation among PR and communication practitioners.

PRSP remains steadfast in its dedication to fostering innovation and professional growth by hosting various initiatives yearly, setting the benchmark for excellence and empowering professionals to stay ahead of industry trends
