A Toast to Filipino Craftsmanship at WOFEX 2025

Tanduay, renowned as the world’s leading rum producer, proudly showcased the essence of Filipino rum-making at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2025, held from March 27 to 29 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. This prestigious event attracted spirits aficionados and culinary experts eager for a taste of innovation.

A representative from Tanduay expressed, “Our goal was to underscore the rich legacy of Philippine rum and to demonstrate the diverse ways our products can be enjoyed in a vibrant food and beverage setting.” At booths 716 and 717, attendees were treated to a special selection of Tanduay’s cherished local offerings and popular export brands, all available at exclusive event-only prices. Featured products included Asian Rum Gold, Asian Rum Silver, Especia Spiced Rum, Double Rum, Heritage Rum, Ginto, Embassy, Flavored Mixes, and Tanduay Select, showcasing a blend of traditional and modern influences.

One of the standout attractions at Tanduay’s exhibit was the daily mixology demonstrations led by three of the Philippines’ most skilled mixologists. On March 27, RJ Ramirez mesmerized the audience with his innovative cocktails like KALABASA HIGH and GINTONIC, utilizing Tanduay’s Especia Spiced Rum and Asian Gold.

The excitement continued on March 28 when Dondz Bolante took the spotlight, reinventing classic cocktails such as WATERMELON HIGHBALL and ESPECIA SOUR with his unique twist. Finally, on March 29, Paulo Layao closed the series with his imaginative concoctions, including GINTO POMELO and RUMCHATTA.

Tanduay’s participation at WOFEX 2025 reaffirmed its position as a leader in the spirits industry while celebrating Filipino craftsmanship and creativity. This event not only highlighted emerging trends but also created opportunities for new partnerships, confirming WOFEX as the Philippines’ premier food and beverage trade show.
