This August 30, 2025 (Saturday), from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, SM Southmall, in partnership with the Las Piñas Veterinary Office Services, is turning that hope into reality with its much-anticipated Dog Adoption Day at the Events Ground, Lower Ground Level.
More than just a mall event, this initiative serves as a lifeline for rescued dogs longing for “furever” homes. Families and individuals can meet adorable adoptables, hear their survival stories, and learn the true meaning of responsible pet ownership. Each wagging tail represents a second chance, and every adoption signifies the start of a bond that could last a lifetime.
Visitors can expect a day filled with heartwarming encounters and practical learning. Adoption booths will be open for meet-and-greets with dogs eager to be part of a family. Pet Care Talks will guide new and aspiring fur parents with expert tips on health, nutrition, and responsible ownership. To make the day even more rewarding, the first 20 adopters will enjoy exclusive freebies including a free anti-rabies vaccine, consultation, and deworming courtesy of Jordan Veterinary Clinic. Partner brand Pet Express will also give away pet care essentials to help new owners care for their companions.
