OEd Commencement 2026 highlights academic excellence, digital innovation, and the determination of learners pursuing education beyond traditional classrooms.
The future of education is no longer confined to classrooms, campuses, or geographical boundaries. As technology continues to transform learning opportunities, AMA University Online Education (OEd) is preparing to celebrate the achievements of 550 graduates whose academic journeys demonstrate the growing importance of flexible and accessible education.
Scheduled for October 26, 2026, OEd Commencement Exercises will bring together graduates from the Philippines and overseas under the inspiring theme “LIMITLESS: The Digital Pulse of Success.”
The celebration will feature two graduation formats, allowing 250 students to participate in person and another 300 to join virtually.
The day’s activities will begin with a Virtual Commencement at 10 a.m., followed by a Baccalaureate and Thanksgiving Mass at 12:15 p.m. at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell. The celebration will conclude with the face-to-face commencement ceremony at 3 p.m. at The Proscenium Theater, Rockwell Center, Makati City.
Education Without Borders
For many students, pursuing higher education while managing professional responsibilities, family commitments, and geographical limitations can be challenging.
OEd has responded to these realities by providing an alternative learning environment that allows students to continue their academic development without abandoning their everyday responsibilities.
This year’s graduating class includes Senior High School students, undergraduate degree holders, master’s graduates, and doctoral candidates.
The institution’s international reach is reflected in graduates traveling from countries including Bahrain, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Macau, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
Their participation demonstrates how digital education has created opportunities for Filipinos living and working overseas to pursue academic qualifications regardless of location.
Empowering Learners Through Technology

Dr. Amable C. Aguiluz IX, Vice Chairman, CEO, and Founder of OEd, will deliver a commencement message emphasizing the importance of making education accessible to individuals from different backgrounds and circumstances.
Central to his educational philosophy is the belief that learning should adapt to people’s lives rather than force individuals to interrupt their careers or family responsibilities.
For Aguiluz IX, the graduating class represents the possibilities created when technology and educational innovation work together.
His message will also address the growing influence of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation in today’s professional environment.
While technological skills are increasingly important, he emphasizes that qualities such as integrity, empathy, sound judgment, courage, and purpose remain essential to meaningful success.
The ceremony will likewise recognize the educational legacy of Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz V, Founder and Chairman Emeritus of AMA Education System, whose vision helped establish technology-driven education as an important component of the institution’s development.

Recognizing Academic Excellence
Beyond celebrating graduation, the event will honor outstanding students whose accomplishments demonstrate that flexible learning can deliver academic excellence.
Among the face-to-face graduates is Hans Gerard Nabong Maypa, who will receive his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, major in Marketing Management, with Magna Cum Laude honors.
Akisha Fiona Samartino Santos, a Senior High School graduate from the Accountancy, Business, and Management strand, will be recognized with Highest Honor.
At the postgraduate level, Edzen Mae Bobis Lacson will complete her Doctor in Business Administration degree with Magna Cum Laude distinction.
The virtual commencement will also recognize exceptional graduates, including Marilou Llorente Ner, a BS Psychology graduate earning Cum Laude honors.
Senior High School graduates Sylphro Sebrynea Macabudbud from the STEM strand and Jacel Mia Ondoy Lindo from the ABM strand will both receive Highest Honor recognition.
Meanwhile, Celeste Racelis Lucero will graduate with a Doctor in Business Administration degree, earning Magna Cum Laude honors.
These achievements highlight the determination of learners who have successfully balanced their studies with responsibilities outside the academic environment.
Celebrating Resilience and Personal Growth
The commencement celebration will also feature personalities representing different fields of professional achievement and personal development.
Among them are motivational speaker and bestselling author Arun O. Gogna, award-winning radio personality Nicole Hyala, and singer-songwriter and actor Nolo Lopez.
Their participation adds another dimension to the occasion, emphasizing that success can take different forms and that continuous learning remains valuable throughout life.
The milestone also reflects the collective efforts of OEd’s leadership and academic community, including Chief Operating Officer Christopher P. Satulan, Executive Director for Sales and Business Development Geraldine V. Barredo, Registrar Melissa Aiza D. Pacheco, and Head of the Academic Department Dr. Mary A. Soriano.
Through their respective responsibilities, these education professionals contribute to an academic environment designed to support students across different learning arrangements.
A New Generation of Limitless Achievers
As the graduates prepare to receive their diplomas, OEd Commencement 2026 represents more than the completion of academic requirements.
It celebrates perseverance, adaptability, personal sacrifice, and the determination to pursue education despite life’s challenges.
Some graduates will walk across the stage in Makati, while others will celebrate their achievements from homes and workplaces across the Philippines and abroad.
Despite their different circumstances, they share a common accomplishment: completing an important chapter in their educational journey.
For AMA University Online Education, the celebration reinforces its commitment to providing learning opportunities that respond to the evolving needs of modern students.
As digital technology continues to reshape education and employment, institutions offering flexible learning arrangements are helping redefine how academic success can be achieved.
OEd Commencement 2026 stands as a celebration of possibilities, proving that ambition, determination, and access to education can open doors far beyond the traditional classroom.
