Condura Helps Filipino Entrepreneurs Turn Negosyo Dreams Into Reality

For Condura, supporting Filipino entrepreneurs means more than providing appliances. It means recognizing their ambitions, understanding the challenges they face, and helping them take the crucial first step toward building a better livelihood.

This philosophy is at the heart of the Condura Pangarappliances program, an initiative that gives negosyo owners a creative way to acquire appliances needed for their businesses.

Robert Hechanova, Vice President for Marketing at Concepcion Durables

Speaking at the Pangarappliances event, Mr. Robert Hechanova, Vice President of Marketing at Concepcion Durables reflected on the company’s history and how its commitment to Filipinos has evolved through generations. He recalled how his great-grandfather established Concepcion Industries 64 years ago with a dream and a strong belief in Filipino potential.

That foundation eventually led to the development of Condura as a Filipino appliance brand committed to serving local households and entrepreneurs. For Robert, the same entrepreneurial spirit remains evident among Filipinos today.

The presentation

Filipinos are very creative. Filipinos are very resilient, and they’re always looking for different ways to earn more,” Robert said. “They have a bigger dream for their families and for a better life.”

But while the dream and determination may already be present, he acknowledged that getting started can often be the biggest challenge.

Sometimes that one start is actually the hardest part,” he said.

The registration

This is where Pangarappliances hopes to make a difference. The program enables qualified negosyo owners to use a drawing of their dream appliance as a down payment toward selected business appliances, making essential equipment more accessible to entrepreneurs.

Robert explained that Condura also wants to ensure that entrepreneurs receive appliances developed specifically for Philippine business conditions.

He highlighted the company’s Negosyo Pro products, including refrigerators and freezers manufactured locally at Condura’s facility in Cabuyao.

These are created, made and designed by Filipinos. It is a testament to Filipino excellence,” Robert said.

According to him, Condura develops its appliances by listening to actual consumers and working with partners to understand what negosyo owners need. Features such as fast cooling, greater storage capacity, and the ability to withstand power fluctuations are particularly important for entrepreneurs whose livelihoods depend on reliable refrigeration.

Condura is even studying how its products can better withstand challenges such as flooding, reflecting the company’s continuing effort to design appliances suited to local conditions.

Pangarappliances, meanwhile, is only beginning.

The first activation accommodates 100 participants, but Robert said Condura sees significant potential to expand the initiative to other locations and eventually reach different types of entrepreneurs.

The interview

This is the start,” he said. “We want to bring it to more areas. We want to focus on different types of entrepreneurs. There’s so much potential for this program.”

Beyond discounts and appliances, Robert stressed that the initiative is about building genuine relationships with business owners. Condura teams are sharing their product, service, and business expertise with participants, including those who have questions about starting or improving their businesses.

Cash payment

At its core, Pangarappliances reflects a simple belief: every Filipino pangarap has value.

By combining Filipino-made products with greater accessibility and practical support, Condura hopes to help more entrepreneurs transform their creativity and resilience into sustainable livelihoods—and turn their negosyo dreams into something tangible.
