SM Foundation Scholarship Program Reaches New Milestone

SM Foundation has reached a new milestone in its commitment to education, with 3,492 active scholars currently pursuing college degrees across the Philippines—the highest number supported by the scholarship program to date.

The growing number reflects the foundation’s continuing efforts to provide educational opportunities to deserving students and help them prepare for careers that can improve their lives and support their families.

For scholars, the program represents more than financial assistance. College education provides an opportunity to gain knowledge, develop skills, and build the confidence needed to enter the workforce. Each scholar carries a personal journey shaped by determination, hard work, and the goal of completing a degree.

This September, another important chapter will unfold as 274 SM scholars are recognized during the Presentation of the SM College Scholar Graduates.

The event celebrates their completion of college and marks their transition from students to young professionals ready to pursue new opportunities.

As graduates prepare to enter the workforce, their achievement also demonstrates how access to education can create lasting opportunities for individuals, families, and communities.

With thousands of students currently enrolled under the program and another batch preparing to graduate, SM Foundation continues to strengthen its scholarship initiative and support young Filipinos as they work toward a more promising future.
