Canon Philippines is strengthening its commitment to the country’s growing creative community with the launch of two new initiatives aimed at helping aspiring and professional content creators develop their skills and pursue creative careers.
During the Creator Experience Day held on July 16, 2026 in Mandaluyong City, Canon officially unveiled the Canon Creator Camp and Canon Campus Tour, programs designed to provide learning opportunities, hands-on experiences, and community engagement for Filipino storytellers, students, and digital creators.
Centered on the theme “One Canon. Many Stories.”, the event highlighted Canon’s vision of supporting creators at every stage of their journey—from discovering their passion to building a profession around it.
As part of the launch, attendees were given the opportunity to experience some of Canon’s latest imaging and printing technologies. Among the featured products was the new Canon EOS R6 V, a hybrid camera designed for modern content creators. Equipped with a 32.5-megapixel sensor, open-gate recording capability, and active cooling technology, the camera is built to support long-form video production, photography, and hybrid content creation.
Canon also showcased its PIXMA MegaTank printer lineup, which combines high-volume printing with ink-saving and paper-efficient technologies. With wireless connectivity, smart app integration, and user-friendly touchscreen interfaces, the printers cater to students, artists, entrepreneurs, educators, and content creators who require reliable printing solutions for both creative and professional projects.

According to Canon Philippines, the Creator Experience Day serves as the starting point for broader programs that will bring creative learning opportunities to more Filipinos nationwide.
The Canon Campus Tour will visit schools and universities across the country, allowing students to explore Canon products through demonstrations, workshops, and interactive learning sessions. The initiative aims to make creative tools more accessible while encouraging young people to explore photography, videography, design, and content creation.
Meanwhile, Canon Creator Camp is designed as a community-based platform where creators can participate in educational sessions, skill-building workshops, and networking opportunities. Through these activities, participants can learn from industry practitioners while enhancing their creative and technical capabilities.

The event also featured Filipino creators who shared their experiences and creative journeys. Filmmakers and content creators Karl Patacsil and Magic Liwanag discussed visual storytelling and the evolving role of imaging technology in content production. Host and educator Nicole Shane Gonzales, together with digital illustrator James “Squeegool” Claridades, highlighted how Canon’s printing solutions support both professional work and personal creative projects.
Beyond the talks, guests explored interactive experience zones, joined networking activities, and participated in raffle draws that encouraged collaboration and engagement among members of the creator community.
With the introduction of Canon Creator Camp and the Canon Campus Tour, Canon Philippines aims to build a stronger ecosystem for local creators by providing access to technology, education, and meaningful industry connections.
As the creative economy continues to grow, Canon plans to expand these initiatives and bring more opportunities to aspiring storytellers across the country, helping Filipinos transform ideas into compelling visual stories through photography, video, illustration, and print.
