PNB Securities, Inc. (PNBSI) has taken a significant step in strengthening its wealth management offerings through a new strategic alliance with Manulife Investment Management and Trust Corporation (Manulife Investments Philippines). The partnership was formalized during a contract signing ceremony held at the PNB Securities office in the Philippine Stock Exchange Tower in Bonifacio Global City.

The collaboration reflects the growing demand among Filipino investors for professionally managed investment products that provide both diversification and access to global market opportunities. Through the partnership, PNB Securities will distribute a range of Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) managed by Manulife Investments Philippines, expanding the investment options available to clients of PNB Wealth Management.

The move is expected to enhance PNB Securities’ ability to serve investors seeking solutions that balance long-term growth potential with income-generating opportunities. Manulife Investments Philippines offers a wide selection of UITFs that invest across various asset classes, giving clients access to investment strategies supported by both local market expertise and global research capabilities.

According to PNB Securities President Manuel Lisbona, the agreement forms part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its investment platform and deliver greater value to clients. He emphasized that the partnership allows the firm to broaden its product lineup while reinforcing its position in the country’s competitive wealth management landscape.

For Manulife Investments Philippines, the partnership creates another avenue to reach more investors and provide access to its globally informed investment solutions. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Manulife Philippines, began operations in 2017 after securing its trust and fiduciary license from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. It remains the first trust corporation in the country backed by a major multinational financial services organization.

Manulife Investments Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Aira Gaspar noted that the collaboration is anchored on a shared goal of helping investors build long-term wealth. Through the partnership, PNB clients will gain access to investment products supported by Manulife’s disciplined investment process and extensive global resources.

Executives from both institutions highlighted that the agreement goes beyond expanding product offerings. It represents a commitment to providing investors with high-quality financial solutions designed to support their evolving financial goals while promoting responsible and sustainable wealth creation.

As investment preferences continue to evolve, the partnership positions both organizations to better meet the needs of Filipinos seeking diversified, professionally managed, and globally connected investment opportunities.
