Honda PCX160: A Ride Redefined for Comfort, Style, and Smart Mobility

On August 29, 2025, Honda Philippines, Inc. put the spotlight on its newest premium scooter by taking media representatives and moto vloggers on a scenic adventure they called the PCXceptional Ride. The experience offered a true taste of what the All-New PCX160 delivers—style, comfort, and performance rolled into one.

A Journey to Remember

The ride started at the Honda Safety Driving Center in Parañaque and carved through the winding roads to Café Cecilia in Tanay, Rizal. Along the way, riders explored the blend of city streets, provincial uphills, and countryside sceneries that allowed the PCX160 to demonstrate its versatility. Whether cruising through traffic or gliding along wide-open stretches, the scooter proved that it was built for both urban convenience and leisure escapes.

Power Meets Efficiency

At the heart of the PCX160 is a 157cc, liquid-cooled ESP+ engine that outputs 11.8 kW and 14.7 Nm of torque, delivering smooth and confident acceleration. Participants were quick to notice its balance of power and efficiency, highlighted by a fuel economy rating of 46 km/L—ideal for long weekend trips without frequent refueling stops. A wider footboard further enhanced rider comfort during the journey.

Safety and Control on Every Turn

Confidence was a recurring theme during the event, thanks to the PCX160’s advanced safety technologies. The RoadSync variant stood out with its Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), features that helped maintain stability even on wet or challenging roads. Its twin shock rear suspension with subtanks also impressed riders with smoother damping, while the Standard type’s Combi Brake System provided reliable stopping power.

Tech-Driven Convenience

Beyond performance, riders appreciated the smart features that elevated convenience. A spacious 30-liter luggage box, built-in USB Type-C charger, and the Honda Smart Key system with anti-theft immobilizer all made a difference in real-world use. Meanwhile, the RoadSync system, paired with smartphones, allowed hands-free access to navigation, calls, messages, and music via an intuitive switch and voice interface, all displayed clearly on the 5-inch TFT panel.

Elegance on the Road

Styling also made a mark, with all-LED lighting and sleek finishes like Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Pearl Fadeless White, and Vortex Red Metallic. Fellow motorists couldn’t help but admire the PCX160’s modern look as it passed by.

By the time the convoy arrived at Café Cecilia, participants agreed: the All-New PCX160 isn’t just a scooter—it’s a statement of elevated riding.

The PCX160 Standard type retails at ₱133,400, while the RoadSync type is priced at ₱154,900, available nationwide at Honda dealerships.
