More than 1,500 residents of San Juan City received free healthcare services as the LAB for ALL caravan made its stop at the FilOil Centre on August 26. Spearheaded by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, the initiative underscored the government’s mission to make healthcare accessible to Filipinos regardless of financial status.
The program provided San Juaneños with free consultations, medicines, vitamins, and diagnostic procedures including X-rays and ECGs. By the end of the day, hundreds had benefitted from both medical and dental services, further reinforcing LAB for ALL’s reputation as a lifeline for underserved communities. Since its inception, the caravan has already served over 1,200 registered patients across the country, offering more than 3,300 medical services and 77 dental treatments.

In her message, the First Lady expressed gratitude to the public and private partners who made the caravan possible. “Like my husband says, ‘dapat nating mahalin ang Pilipinas, dapat natin mahalin ang Pilipino.’ Sama-sama tayong babangon muli,” she said, emphasizing unity, compassion, and shared responsibility in building healthier communities.
Local leaders also welcomed the caravan’s visit. Mayor Francis Zamora and Representative Bel Zamora-Jornada joined the First Lady in addressing the crowd, affirming San Juan’s commitment to prioritizing healthcare access for its citizens. “Maraming salamat po sapagkat ang San Juan po ang inyo pong nadalaw sa inyo pong LAB for ALL program,” Mayor Zamora remarked, highlighting the importance of bringing such initiatives to their city.
The private sector also played a critical role. Bell-Kenz Pharma Inc. extended the program’s impact by distributing free prescription medicines and vitamins, ensuring that patients left not only with diagnoses but also with the treatments they needed. “Access to reliable treatment should not be a privilege. We are proud to support LAB for ALL in making quality healthcare more accessible to everyday Filipinos,” said Bell-Kenz CEO Luis Raymond Go.
The San Juan leg of LAB for ALL was made possible through a wide network of partners, including agencies such as DOH, DSWD, PhilHealth, CHED, and TESDA, alongside several private organizations. Together, they demonstrated how collective effort can close gaps in healthcare delivery.
By bridging government resources with private support, LAB for ALL continues its mission to bring essential health and social services closer to Filipino families. Its San Juan stop is just one milestone in a larger journey to ensure that no community is left behind in the pursuit of better health and well-being.
