Eraserheads Lead Star-Studded Lineup at Electric Fun Festival

The country’s most iconic OPM band, Eraserheads, will once again take center stage as they headline the first-ever Electric Fun Music Festival on October 18, 2025, at the SMDC Festival Grounds. The group, whose music has defined generations, is preparing a two-hour set packed with their greatest hits, deep cuts, and fan favorites that are sure to ignite nostalgia while thrilling new listeners.

Adding to the excitement, the night will mark the live debut of “Get This Love Thing Down,” a fresh track first teased in the closing credits of the hit 2025 film Eraserheads: Combo On The Run. For frontman and principal songwriter Ely Buendia, the performance is more than just a return—it’s a statement of where the band stands creatively today. “We’ve each grown to different phases and explored different sounds, but this song reflects where we are now—emotionally, musically, and spiritually,” he shared.

But the Eraserheads won’t be alone in bringing the festival alive. Sharing the stage are powerhouse OPM acts including The Itchyworms, Moonstar88, IMAGO, General Luna, and Dong Abay Music Organization, among others. Together, they create a lineup that promises to showcase the breadth of Filipino rock and alternative music, making the event a milestone gathering for both artists and fans.

For those seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience, limited SVIP and VIP ticket holders will gain access to the Soundcheck Experience, offering early entry, prime viewing spots, and an exclusive glimpse into the band’s pre-show preparations. It’s a rare chance for fans to step closer into the Eraserheads’ creative space before the main performance.

Tickets are now available through PalawanPay and SM Tickets, with prices ranging from ₱1,500 for Bronze to ₱12,500 for SVIP access. Organized by WEU Events Management Services and DVent Productions, the Electric Fun Music Festival is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated live music events of the year—uniting OPM icons and loyal fans in a night that celebrates both the enduring past and the evolving future of Filipino music.
