Streetball Showdown: Red Bull Half Court Returns to the Philippines

Get ready, basketball enthusiasts! The Red Bull Half Court tournament is back in the Philippines, promising a season of thrilling streetball action. This premier 3-on-3 competition is the perfect platform for local athletes to showcase their talent and compete for a chance to represent the country at the Red Bull Half Court World Final in the UAE this November.

This year, Red Bull Half Court is set to electrify fans and players alike with its unique format, where teams battle it out on half the court. With games adhering to FIBA rules, each match lasts for 10 minutes or until a team scores 21 points. The excitement doesn’t stop there—teams can earn bonus points through the “Own the Court” feature, which rewards those who score the most throughout the tournament.

Legendary NBA shooting coach Chris ‘Lethal Shooter’ Matthews expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Every year, Red Bull Half Court elevates the game. It’s incredible to see the sport flourish in new nations, and I can’t wait to witness the talent that emerges this season.”

In collaboration with FILA and Spalding, Red Bull Half Court will host qualifier rounds across the globe, including regional competitions in Davao on August 30-31, Cebu on September 13-14, and Manila on September 27-28. Each regional event consists of elimination rounds followed by a showdown to determine who advances to the National Final in Manila on October 18.

Teams must consist of 3 to 4 players aged 18 and above, with at least three members holding valid Philippine passports. Interested squads can register by purchasing four cans of Red Bull at any 7-Eleven store and uploading their receipt on the official website. All registered teams will receive exclusive Red Bull Half Court jerseys.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exhilarating tournament. Gather your crew, lace up your sneakers, and gear up for the Red Bull Half Court qualifiers!
