Kicking off the celebration was the much-anticipated return of American vocal group 98 Degrees, who brought their 98 Degrees Live in Manila tour to the arena on May 30 and 31. In celebration of their 25th anniversary and new album Full Circle, the quartet delivered a nostalgic, high-energy performance that transported the audience back to the golden era of ’90s pop music. Fans sang their hearts out to beloved hits like “I Do,” “Because of You,” and “Una Noche,” a testament to the band’s enduring popularity in the Philippines.

Filipino talent shines as Jonalyn Viray shares the stage with 98 Degrees, uniting global and local musical prowess.

What made their Manila stop extra special was the collaboration with Filipino artists Jonalyn Viray and Janine Teñoso, whose soulful voices perfectly complemented the group’s signature harmonies. As the night came to a close, the band gave an emotional performance of “The Hardest Thing” and thanked their Filipino fans for being an essential part of their 25-year journey.

The excitement continued on June 1 with Wish Date: Refrain, a heartfelt event that turned fan-submitted stories from Wish 107.5’s fictional DJ Dr. Clark into a live musical experience. The production artfully combined storytelling with soul-stirring performances from OPM legends Lani Misalucha and Nyoy Volante.

The show also featured a talented lineup including Mark Carpio, Over October, Letters from June, Kate Yalung, JC Alcantara, William Lorenzo, Robbie Packing, Eisel Serrano, and Tyrone Tan. Each performance brought deeply personal stories to life, resonating with fans and creating a truly memorable evening.

On June 7 and 8, the SM MOA Arena transformed into a place of worship as the Mighty to Save tour brought Hillsong Worship to the Philippines. The first night was completely sold out, with Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding, and Aodhan King leading the crowd in powerful praise. Songs like “What a Beautiful Name,” “Hosanna,” and “I Give You My Heart” filled the space, uniting thousands of people in a shared spiritual experience.

The stage later welcomed G-Force Dance Center on June 11 for its G-Force Project 2025, a grand showcase celebrating the center’s 20th anniversary. Under the leadership of founder Georcelle Dapat-Sy, the event highlighted the rise of young dancers and the transformative power of the performing arts. Returning G-Force alumna Cassy Legaspi and celebrated performer Maja Salvador inspired the crowd, proving the center’s impact on the local dance community.
