ProPak Philippines 2025: Premier Processing and Packaging Trade Event

The 5th edition of ProPak Philippines, the premier international trade event for processing and packaging in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and FMCG industries, is set to take place from February 12 to 14, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.

Since its inception in 2019, ProPak Philippines has established itself as a vital platform for technology transfer, connecting businesses of all sizes with the latest advancements in machinery, equipment, and solutions for manufacturing and packaging. This year’s edition promises to be the largest yet, occupying the entire World Trade Center and hosting over 250 exhibitors and brands from more than 30 countries.

The event is expected to attract over 12,000 trade visitors, ranging from MSMEs and SMEs to multinational corporations, all seeking solutions for market demands, including sustainable packaging, innovative processing techniques, and compliance with new food safety regulations.

The 2025 event will showcase a strong international presence, featuring leading companies like Wolf, Multivac, Middleby, and Heat & Control from countries such as Japan, Germany, and the USA. Additionally, international pavilions from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, and Italy will highlight cutting-edge technologies. A key feature is the strategic partnership with IPACK-IMA Italy, ensuring the Philippines gains access to world-class processing and packaging advancements.

For the first time in the Philippines, ProPak 2025 will exhibit award-winning packaging samples from the Packaging Innovation and Design Awards (PIDA) and AsiaStar Packaging Awards. This collaboration with the Australasian Institute of Packaging and the Asian Packaging Federation underscores the event’s commitment to showcasing excellence in design and innovation.

Additionally, the event will spotlight local talent through a partnership with the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP). This new feature will showcase innovative packaging solutions and products developed by Filipino designers and manufacturers, celebrating the country’s creativity and ingenuity on an international stage.

Supported by the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and numerous industry associations such as the Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT), Philippine Printing Technical Foundation (PPTF), and Philippine Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA), ProPak Philippines 2025 aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and business growth within the processing and packaging sectors.

The event also emphasizes international collaboration, with partnerships including the Australasian Institute of Packaging (AIP), the Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPIA) from the Netherlands, and the Asia Packaging Federation (APF). These alliances aim to share global knowledge and innovations, further advancing the industry in the Philippines.

“Our mission is to bring the most innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective processing and packaging technologies to the Philippines,” said Ms. Rungphech ‘Rose’ Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines. “We aim to address the ever-changing demands of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and FMCG industries while exploring emerging trends like AI integration in manufacturing and packaging solutions.”

With over 50 conference sessions and 60 speakers, ProPak Philippines 2025 will provide industry leaders and professionals with the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and trade secrets. The event’s tailored conferences and seminars will offer valuable insights to drive innovation, enhance skills, and accelerate growth, positioning the Philippines at the forefront of the global processing and packaging industry.
