The much-anticipated Sining Filipina 2025, the Philippines’ premier nationwide, all-women art competition, has officially opened its doors to entries. This year’s theme, “Her Earth, Her Future,” invites women artists to explore and express their vision of sustainability, spotlighting women as leaders and changemakers in shaping a greener, more sustainable future.

Organized by SM Supermalls and Chinabank, with support from Airspeed for the benefit of the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs, Sining Filipina continues its mission of empowering women through art. By providing a platform for creative expression, the competition not only showcases the extraordinary talent of Filipina artists but also highlights art’s ability to inspire positive social and environmental change.

Women artists across the nation are encouraged to participate by submitting original works in oil, acrylic, or mixed media. The artwork must adhere to the required sizes of either 2ft x 3ft or 3ft x 3ft, allowing ample space for each artist’s unique interpretation of the theme. Interested participants can email [email protected] or follow the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs on social media to obtain the official entry form and detailed guidelines. Submissions will be accepted until February 13, 2025, so artists are encouraged to act quickly and seize this opportunity to share their vision.

Sining Filipina 2025 underscores SM Supermalls’ dedication to fostering women’s empowerment and promoting Filipino artistry. By encouraging discussions around sustainability and showcasing the contributions of women to this critical issue, the competition aligns with SM’s broader goal of creating a positive impact on communities.

As the competition gears up, excitement is building among the local art community and beyond. With its powerful theme and a strong platform for recognition, Sining Filipina 2025 is poised to inspire not only artists but also audiences to rethink their roles in building a sustainable future.
