Celebrating a Century of Faith: The Peñafrancia Festival 2024

Naga City came alive during the Peñafrancia Festival 2024, marking a century since the Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Peñafrancia, with the support of DITO Telecommunity.

This year, the festival was a vibrant celebration of Bicolano culture, featuring experiential booths, captivating performances, and interactive activities that engaged the community and highlighted local talent. DITO’s partnership with the City Government of Naga ensured that the spirit of devotion was celebrated through modern connectivity, bringing together tradition and technology.

A standout event was the Miss Bicolandia 2024 pageant, proudly sponsored by DITO, which showcased the grace and talents of young Bicolano women. On September 11, 2024, the highly anticipated Coronation Night culminated in Mikki Angela Barcela being crowned as Miss Bicolandia 2024, embodying the region’s beauty and empowerment.

From September 15 to 21, the Tagboan Arts Festival further enhanced the celebratory atmosphere, with DITO providing high-speed connectivity through mobile cell sites. The DITO Experiential Hub engaged festival-goers with fun activities and exclusive product offers.

The highlight of the Tagboan Arts Festival was DITO Day on September 21, featuring the TODO NA DITO Roadshow, which celebrated local talent through competitions in gaming, dance, and singing. The day culminated in the TODO NA DITO Concert, featuring electrifying performances from local artists, including a show-stopping finale by MAKI.

The festival not only showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Bicol region but also reinforced DITO Telecommunity’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and supporting vibrant local communities.
