Pia Wurtzbach, Ambassador of WWF-Philippines

WWF-Philippines ambassador Pia Wurtzbach is among Authentic Celebrity Experience’s (ACE) roster of local celebrities who are lending their platforms to raise funds for their chosen charities.

Get personalized video greetings from your favorite local celebrities while helping the planet with World Wide Fund for Nature – Philippines (WWF-PH) officially listed as one of Authentic Celebrity Experience’s (ACE) partner organizations.

The partnership, which was established in line with the WWF network’s 60th anniversary, aims to raise funds to support the organization’s environmental conservation efforts here in the Philippines.

Dene Schonknecht, CEO and Founder of ACE Entertainment shared how they hope to make a difference in Filipinos’ lives through the partnership.

“I’ve always believed in giving back to the community and I believe that by partnering with WWF-PH, we can use our platform and our amazing network of talent to lend their voice for the people. With our previous success in raising funds for WWF-PH back in March together with Queen Pia Wurtzbach, I am confident that both ACE and WWF-PH can achieve more together,” said Schonknecht.

“We hope to continue working with organizations like WWF to make a difference for our society. The ACE Talent family has been supportive of our cause and we hope that we can continue to connect people to their heroes while lending our voice for those who can’t and make a positive impact in society to #ChangeTheEnding.”  Schonknecht added

Launched in 2020, ACE is a video platform that connects fans with their favorite celebrities through personalized video greetings for a minimum fee—a portion of which goes to the artist’s chosen charity.

Last April, WWF-PH Ambassador Pia Wurtzbach raised a total of PhP 200,000 for the WWF-PH’s Donsol Integrated Conservation Project which implements a community-based whale shark ecotourism program to sustainably manage whale shark interactions in its marine area and strengthen the conservation efforts not only for the Butanding, but also for the diverse marine life in the Burias-Ticao Pass. The community-based tourism program in partnership with the municipality of Donsol, Sorsogon has become one of the country’s models for sustainable tourism.

Joining Wurtzbach in raising funds for WWF-PH through the platform are fellow WWF-PH ambassadors Marc Nelson and Karen Ibasco, beauty queens Teresita Marquez, Shamcey Supsup, and Janelle Tee, athletes Thirdy Ravena and James Younghusband, as well as TV personalities Rocco Nacino, Suzi Entrata, and Franki Russell.

WWF-Philippines is set to launch more campaigns and programs with our innovative partners in the months to come. Stay tuned to WWF-Philippines’ official social media pages for announcements and to find out more ways to help #ChangeTheEnding for the environment.
