 Ithan Najafi and Giselle Andrea Gapay bannered the 28 competitors presented during the pre-pageant and prejudging night of Slimmers World’s Mr. and Ms. Great Bodies 2019 on Thursday at the Resorts World Manila.

Najafi, 30, an Iranian businessman based in Manila representing Slimmers World Megamall, bagged the Mr. Go Keto, Mr. Milcu and Mr. Walker plums.

Meanwhile, Gapay, representing Slimmers World Legaspi Makati, copped the Ms. Go Keto and Ms. Organique Açai awards.

“These awards are super morale-boosters for the big night next week,” Gapay said, pertaining to the main event of Slimmers World Mr. and Ms. Great Bodies on Tuesday at the same venue.

Slimmers World President Desiree Amoy, Cheryl Nakanishi, Gemmalyn Crosby, Mario Dumawal, Nelson Canlas and MJ Marfori will serve as judges in the main event.

“My expectation is to get at least to the top five so I have to level up in my mandatory posing,” said Gapay.

The other contestants present during the pre-pageant and prejudging night were John Alfred Salazar, Darryl Marie Santos, Lorraine Mae Tejano, Aleykhaine Balatbat, Maria Regina Mariano, Jose Antonio Diangson, Teresa Gimpayan, Terry Surjan, Leila Ceballos, Lance Miguel Santos, Sean Ngo, Aimee Celine Sy, Rish Sy, Chairmaine Evangelista, Alvin Lim, eldest candidate 63-year-old Macaria Magtoto, Anj Sandel, Han Dong, Richman Ngo, Reynaldo Almero, Viann Ryann Flores, Xeric Ervin Tan, Ernest Rico Sto. Tomas, John Mark Minguillan, Ronquillo Velasquez and Jerome Salvado.
