Cobra and TESDA Fuel New Paths for Filipinos

In today’s challenging times, energy is not just about powering through the day—it’s also about building a future. Cobra Energy Drink, in collaboration with TESDA NCR–PAMAMARISAN District Office and DOLE-TUPAD, has extended its mission beyond the can through its flagship program, “Tatag sa Pagtupad ng Pangarap Kasama ang TESDA.”

This initiative provides not only vocational training but also a spark of hope for underemployed, unemployed, and displaced workers eager to rise again. For 29 beneficiaries, the program meant more than just new skills; it meant reclaiming dignity, direction, and the courage to keep moving forward.

Each participant received free technical-vocational training, TESDA competency assessments, and a Cobra “Panimula Kit.” The kit contained essential tools for small business or career pursuits, helping graduates immediately put their new knowledge into practice. It was a complete package that combined education, empowerment, and opportunity.

Similarly, Jennelbel Amulat, a Housekeeping course graduate, discovered renewed confidence. With dreams of working abroad or starting her own venture, she credited Cobra and TESDA for giving her the tools to start again. “Hindi ko sasayangin ang programang ito at gagawin ko ang lahat upang magtagumpay sa buhay,” she said, encouraging her fellow #TeamLakas beneficiaries to keep pushing forward.

Jonalyn Yarra Abogado, also from the Housekeeping program, now juggles part-time work while preparing for opportunities overseas. For her, the program’s impact was immediate. “Maraming salamat sa Cobra at sa lahat ng parte ng programang ito… hindi sila nagdalawang-isip na tumulong,” she shared, expressing gratitude for the knowledge that opened doors to her ambitions.

The TESDA National Certificate each graduate received was more than a piece of paper—it was a symbol of resilience. It represented the strength to rise after setbacks and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Cobra’s added support through the starter kits further proved the company’s commitment to sustainable, long-term impact.

For Cobra Energy Drink, the initiative is not just a CSR project—it’s a mission. “We witnessed how, with the right support, they could rebuild their confidence and take the first steps toward their dreams,” said Jonsell Del Mundo, Assistant Brand Manager. Seeing the transformation firsthand gave the brand more reason to keep investing in programs that touch real lives.

Marketing Manager Apple de Belen highlighted how the program aligns with Cobra’s identity. “Cobra has always stood for strength, perseverance, and the courage to keep going. Through #TeamLakas, we are proud to help Filipinos not only gain energy for today but also the skills and opportunities that will change their lives for tomorrow.”

Through these stories, Cobra proves that energy goes beyond the physical—it fuels resilience, ambition, and the unwavering Filipino spirit. By giving aspiring individuals the tools and strength to chase their dreams, Cobra Energy Drink shows that every sip can be a step toward a brighter future.
