SM Foundation has strengthened its nationwide healthcare outreach with the unveiling of its seventh mobile clinic, bringing essential medical services closer to Filipino families in underserved communities.
Officially blessed and launched on October 5, 2026, the new mobile healthcare facility represents another milestone in the foundation’s continuing efforts to make quality medical assistance more accessible, particularly in areas where healthcare facilities and diagnostic services remain limited.
The mobile clinic supports SM Foundation’s flagship “Gamot Para sa Kapwa” Medical Missions, a longstanding initiative dedicated to providing free healthcare services to communities across the Philippines.
Equipped with modern diagnostic technology, the newly introduced unit offers a range of medical examinations designed to help identify potential health concerns and encourage early detection.
Among its available services are X-ray examinations, electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, and laboratory screenings for blood glucose, uric acid, hemoglobin, and cholesterol levels. These services provide beneficiaries with opportunities to monitor their health without the financial burden of costly diagnostic procedures.
The foundation’s medical missions are made possible through the collective efforts of volunteer healthcare professionals and institutional partners, including BDO Network Bank, local government units, national agencies, and community organizations.
This October, the seventh mobile clinic will begin serving communities in the Bicol region, offering residents access to free consultations and diagnostic examinations.
Through this latest initiative, SM Foundation continues to demonstrate how partnerships, volunteerism, and mobile healthcare solutions can help bridge gaps in medical access while promoting healthier and more resilient Filipino communities nationwide.
