SmarTrade Strengthens Support for Filipino Youth Through Community Programs

Students at the Balik Eskwela 2026 outreach at Sto. Niño Elementary School received donation packages from SmarTrade, ATFX Cares, and Cosmos Lodge No. 8.

SmarTrade continues to deepen its commitment to social responsibility by expanding initiatives that promote education, youth development, and community empowerment. Working alongside ATFX Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of global broker ATFX, the organization recently launched outreach activities designed to provide meaningful opportunities for children from underserved communities.

Through partnerships with local organizations, educators, volunteers, and community leaders, hundreds of young Filipinos in Rizal and Manila benefited from programs focused on learning, personal growth, and character development. These efforts reflect SmarTrade’s belief that investing in the next generation is essential to building stronger and more resilient communities.

One of the key initiatives was the Balik Eskwela 2026 Community Outreach Program held at Sto. Niño Elementary School in San Mateo, Rizal. Conducted in collaboration with ATFX Cares, Cosmos Lodge 8, and local government representatives, the program supported around 200 Grade 1 and Grade 2 students as they prepared for the new academic year.

To help ease the financial burden on families, students received essential school items including bags, notebooks, writing materials, lunch bags, tumblers, and food packs. Volunteers also organized a feeding activity to provide nutritious meals for the children while carrying out classroom improvement projects such as repainting walls and refurbishing chairs. These efforts aimed to create a more welcoming and conducive environment for learning.

Beyond the distribution of school supplies, the outreach program included motivational talks and interactive activities that encouraged students to pursue their education with enthusiasm and confidence. School officials, community leaders, and partner organizations shared messages of inspiration, emphasizing the value of education in shaping a brighter future.

Complementing its educational initiatives, SmarTrade also supported youth development through sports by partnering with ATFX Cares and Dream Big Pilipinas for a Football Activity and Outreach Program at Thomas Aquinas Field in San Juan, Manila.

The event brought together children aged six to seventeen from economically challenged families, including those of construction workers, street vendors, and other underserved sectors. Through football training sessions and team-based activities, participants learned valuable life skills such as discipline, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and self-confidence.

More than a sports event, the program served as a platform for social inclusion and personal development. It provided young participants with a safe and positive environment where they could build friendships, develop character, and discover their potential.

With the support of dedicated partners and volunteers, these initiatives continue to create meaningful impact in local communities. As SmarTrade expands its outreach efforts, it remains focused on empowering individuals through education, mentorship, and lifelong learning opportunities. By helping young Filipinos gain knowledge, skills, and confidence, the organization continues to contribute to building brighter futures and stronger communities across the country.
