Building Futures Through Digital Learning

A transformative step toward inclusive education has been realized with the unveiling of the Felicidad Sy Hall Digital Transformation Center—an initiative designed to prepare students for a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world. More than a new facility, the center represents a commitment to empowering young learners with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed.

The milestone was marked by a meaningful celebration that began with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Girlstown Gymnasium, officiated by His Excellency Archbishop Charles Brown, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines. Students, faculty, and partners gathered in gratitude, setting a reflective tone before the official blessing and dedication of the new center.

At the heart of this initiative is the enduring vision of Felicidad T. Sy, fondly remembered as “Nanang,” whose belief in education as a pathway to dignity continues to guide the Foundation’s mission. Her legacy lives on through programs that ensure no student is left behind, especially those from underserved communities seeking better opportunities.

The Digital Transformation Center is equipped with modern classrooms, advanced technologies, and digital workstations that support both technical-vocational training and emerging fields. Students will now gain hands-on experience in areas such as artificial intelligence, automation, cloud computing, and data analytics—skills that are increasingly vital in today’s workforce.

More than just a learning space, the facility serves as a bridge between present and future generations. It supports not only current students but also alumni who wish to continue developing their capabilities and expanding their career paths. Within the Sisters of Mary School community, this initiative strengthens a long-standing mission to form disciplined, purpose-driven individuals ready to make a difference.

The center stands as a product of collaboration among the Felicidad T. Sy Foundation, Fr. Al’s Children Foundation, the Sisters of Mary School, and generous private donors. Together, they have created a platform that integrates digital learning, industry-relevant training, and practical skills development.

By expanding access to quality education and future-ready competencies, the Felicidad Sy Hall Digital Transformation Center opens doors to employment, fosters self-reliance, and contributes to inclusive growth—continuing a legacy that inspires students to dream, achieve, and uplift others.
