The product introduces the company’s Firm & Flex™ Technology, a proprietary engineering innovation designed to provide a balance between strength and adaptability. Rather than focusing solely on durability, the technology reflects SCG’s broader goal of creating materials that contribute to safer structures while improving the quality of indoor environments.
The “Firm” component of the technology ensures strong structural integrity, dimensional stability, and dependable fastening performance throughout a building’s lifecycle. At the same time, the “Flex” element provides controlled flexibility that reduces the risk of cracking during transportation and installation. This combination helps improve construction efficiency while minimizing material waste on site. Together, these attributes define what SCG calls Ultra durability, designed to meet the demands of modern building environments.
Recognizing the Philippines’ humid tropical climate, SCG Smartboard Ultra also integrates Anti-Mold Technology directly into the board during manufacturing. Instead of applying mold protection only on the surface, the anti-fungal components are embedded into the material itself through a controlled autoclave curing process. This approach ensures long-term resistance to fungal growth, contributing to healthier indoor spaces for homes, offices, and commercial structures.
The product’s reliability is supported by international testing standards, including ASTM certifications, reinforcing SCG’s commitment to global quality benchmarks. Manufactured in Thailand using strict environmental and production standards, the boards feature premium pulp fiber reinforcement and enhanced moisture resistance—characteristics that strengthen structural performance while supporting indoor air quality.

Decorative fiber cement products such as the SCG Wood Plank – Triple Tone Series replicate the natural appearance of wood through advanced digital printing technology, offering colors like Moss Grey, Ginger Brown, and Maple Pine. These boards provide the warmth of natural wood while maintaining resistance to mold, termites, and weather exposure.
Complementing these options is the SCG Smartboard Stone Series, which features textures inspired by natural stone, including Granova Stone and Lumora Stone finishes. Designed for both interior and exterior use, the series allows architects to incorporate refined, stone-inspired aesthetics without sacrificing durability or installation efficiency.
