Representatives from the national and regional levels of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the gathering, along with leaders from neighboring PCCI chapters and various industry groups. Their presence reflected the Chamber’s broader network of support and the shared goal of promoting economic development through cooperation between businesses and institutions.

In his inaugural message, Lirag emphasized that leadership within the Chamber carries both privilege and responsibility. He acknowledged the work of his predecessor, noting that the organization’s credibility and relevance were built through years of dedication and collective effort.

Philip Lirag delivers his message as newly installed President of PCCI San Juan, setting the tone for a year focused on stronger collaboration and steady progress within the business community.

According to Lirag, the strength of San Juan’s economy lies in the diverse businesses that operate within the city. From neighborhood enterprises to larger corporations, each plays a role in shaping a vibrant local economy that generates employment and opportunities for residents.

He described San Juan as a city driven by entrepreneurs, professionals, and workers who share a commitment to building a better future for their communities. Small businesses, he said, serve as the lifeblood of local neighborhoods, while medium and large companies help expand the city’s economic reach through job creation and investment.

By fostering knowledge sharing and partnerships, the Chamber hopes to help local enterprises navigate new opportunities while addressing the challenges of a changing marketplace.

Lirag also stressed that the success of the Chamber depends on the active participation of its members. He described PCCI San Juan not simply as an organization led by its officers, but as a collaborative platform where ideas, experiences, and partnerships come together.
