The first weekend of February transformed Pasay into a living soundtrack of Original Pilipino Music, as SM Arena-managed venues mounted back-to-back spectacles that drew fans from across Metro Manila and beyond. At the SM Mall of Asia Arena and the SMDC Festival Grounds, the spotlight shone brightly on Filipino artistry—bridging generations, genres, and performance styles in one unforgettable celebration.

At the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the much-anticipated reunion of the Sexbomb Girls extended its run from February 6 to 8, responding to overwhelming demand. The group’s return was anything but ordinary. A 360-degree stage configuration reimagined the concert experience, placing fans at the heart of the action and maximizing every angle of the performance. The atmosphere felt both nostalgic and refreshingly new, as longtime supporters relived iconic hits while younger audiences embraced the group’s enduring pop legacy. Special collaborations with OPM icons such as the Apo Hiking Society and Gary Valenciano, alongside contemporary acts like ALAMAT and BINI, created a rare musical dialogue between eras—proving that OPM continues to evolve while honoring its roots.

Just steps away, the SMDC Festival Grounds debuted the Wonderful Moments Music Festival, a two-day outdoor gathering that amplified the weekend’s energy. Thousands filled the open-air venue on February 7 and 8, enjoying performances from Cup of Joe, Sarah Geronimo, Arthur Nery, Dionela, and Bamboo. Beyond the main stage, interactive booths and immersive installations added depth to the festival atmosphere, turning it into more than just a concert—it was an experience. A midnight fireworks display capped the festivities, sealing the event’s promising start as a potential annual highlight on the OPM calendar.

Behind the scenes, seamless coordination among organizers, local authorities, and venue teams ensured smooth operations across the bustling Mall of Asia Complex—delivering a world-class music weekend designed, as always, all for you.
