When Pasko Bloomed with Purpose at Winford Manila

The spirit of giving came alive this holiday season as Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) wrapped up its annual Christmas initiatives with meaningful acts of generosity that reached hundreds of families and children in the Sta. Cruz community. Under the theme “Pasko in Full Bloom,” Winford Manila once again turned celebration into service—staying true to its long-standing commitment to give back to its neighbors.

At the heart of the season was Christmasaya sa Winford, a cherished tradition that has brought together community members, barangay leaders, stakeholders, and Winford employees since 2017. Held on December 18 at the Winford Ballroom, the post-event gathering was filled with warmth, gratitude, and shared joy as the resort sponsored Christmas baskets for 600 households in the Sta. Cruz area—helping families welcome the holidays with comfort and dignity.

Winford Manila President and COO Jeffrey Evora expressed appreciation for the continued support of nearby communities since the resort first opened its doors. He shared that the simple Christmas offerings were meant to bring smiles and light to every family, reinforcing Winford’s hope that the Pasko of its neighbors will always be “in full bloom.”

Extending the celebration beyond the ballroom, Winford Manila also partnered with SM Cares and SM City San Lazaro for the annual Buy-One-Donate-One Besties of Joy initiative. Through this collaboration, Winford Manila helped donate 150 Besties of Joy plush toys to children in need. The toys were officially turned over on December 26 to Precious Heritage Ministries Foundation, Inc., a Manila-based non-profit organization supporting orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children and families in NCR and Region IV-A.

These holiday efforts reflect Winford Manila’s broader commitment to community development through its corporate social responsibility arm, Winford Manila Foundation, Inc. Earlier this year, the foundation awarded Caritas Manila a ₱4 million grant to support the Youth Servant Leadership and Education Program (YSLEP), with structured annual releases ensuring sustained support for scholars.

As the year comes to a close, Winford Manila’s post-holiday initiatives stand as a reminder that true celebration is measured not by spectacle, but by the lives uplifted—where generosity, partnership, and community continue to flourish well beyond the season.
