As the year draws to a close, Boracay Island is glowing with renewed warmth and meaning as Sun Life Philippines brings its Brighter Holidays campaign to one of the country’s most beloved destinations. More than a festive display, the initiative transforms the island into a symbol of hope, togetherness, and fresh beginnings—capturing the spirit of the season while reinforcing Sun Life’s long-standing commitment to helping Filipinos build brighter futures.

The celebrations opened with a tree-lighting ceremony at Laketown, where a towering Christmas tree became the centerpiece of holiday cheer. Around the island, Sun Life’s presence is felt both on land and sea. Colorful, Sun Life–branded paraws sail gracefully along the Boracay coastline, blending tradition with celebration, while iconic parols—long associated with Filipino resilience and unity—shine across key areas of the island. Together, these elements create a visual reminder that the holidays are not only about celebration, but also about shared purpose and optimism.

Beyond the lights and festivities, the campaign carries a deeper social mission. Sun Life partnered with the NVC Foundation to support the Mingo Meals Nutrition Program, extending the spirit of giving to the Ati Community in Boracay. Through the commitment of Sun Life advisors, undernourished children will receive a month’s supply of nutritious meals—turning holiday goodwill into tangible support for those who need it most. This initiative underscores the brand’s belief that brighter holidays are best celebrated when no one is left behind.
The season’s highlights will culminate on December 31 with Boracay’s official New Year’s Eve Countdown at Station 2 Beachfront. Starting at 10:00 PM, guests can welcome 2026 with live music, exciting activities, raffle prizes, and a festive atmosphere under the stars—an experience designed for both locals and visitors alike.

Adding a digital twist, Sun Life is inviting everyone to join the #SunLifeBrighterHolidays social media promo. By sharing photos or reels of the Christmas tree, paraws, or parols on Facebook or TikTok, participants get a chance to win exciting prizes, extending the celebration beyond the island and into online communities nationwide.
Through Brighter Holidays, Sun Life once again shows that meaningful celebrations can light the way toward hope, generosity, and a brighter tomorrow for every Filipino.
