Vena Energy is charting a powerful course toward community-centered sustainability as it earned the Bronze Award at the AmCham Philippines 2025 Corporate Social Impact Awards. This recognition, given through its subsidiary Helios Solar Energy Corp. (HSEC), celebrates the company’s transformative Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Program—an initiative that has become a lifeline for families in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. More than an accolade, the award reinforces Vena Energy’s message: clean energy and community well-being must advance hand in hand.

At the heart of the WASH Program is a simple yet urgent mission—to help solve the public health challenges brought about by limited access to clean water and proper sanitation. Implemented with the Cadiz City Social Welfare and Development Office and the City Health Office, the program provides improved hygiene facilities and promotes safer sanitation practices for young children and vulnerable households. Its success demonstrates how targeted interventions can uplift entire communities, especially when guided by long-term partnerships and aligned with global goals such as the UN SDGs.

Cadiz City Mayor Salvador Escalante, Jr. lauded the initiative, noting how HSEC’s support strengthens the city’s Early Childhood Care and Development Program. He emphasized that the collaboration is already making a significant difference—proof that meaningful CSR thrives when both private and public sectors work toward shared aspirations.

For Vena Energy, the AmCham recognition is a proud milestone rooted in its broader commitment to the Philippines. The company has long worked closely with local governments and host communities to advance renewable energy development while ensuring that social progress remains front and center. Samrinder Nehria, Head of The Philippines, expressed gratitude for the award, reaffirming the company’s dedication to responsible growth. As the nation moves toward a 35% renewable energy share by 2030, he noted that Vena Energy will continue fostering an empowered workforce and investing in programs that uplift lives.

By embedding strong ESG principles into its operations, Vena Energy is not only powering the transition to cleaner energy—it is helping build healthier, more resilient communities for generations to come.
