PLDT Reloaded: High Speed Hitters Charge Toward Reinforced Glory

Russian import Anastasiia Bavykina and draft picks Alleiah Malaluan and Zenneth Perolino join pusong PLDT-armed, title-hunting core

The PLDT High Speed Hitters are rewriting their story this PVL Reinforced Conference 2025 — stronger, faster, and hungrier for the crown. After a remarkable back-to-back championship run in the PVL On Tour and Invitational Conference, the team enters the new season carrying the momentum of a 15-game win streak and a mission to turn heartbreak into history.

Leading this renewed charge is Russian powerhouse Anastasiia Bavykina, a 6’2” outside hitter with over 15 years of international experience. The veteran spiker’s arrival adds height, composure, and a stabilizing force to PLDT’s system, complementing the explosive offense of MVP Savi Davison. “We didn’t need another scoring machine,” explained head coach Rald Ricafort. “We needed someone who could hold the team together — a veteran presence who could elevate the entire unit.” Bavykina wasted no time proving her worth, debuting with double-digit scores and leading performances against the league’s top contenders.

But it’s not just about imported firepower — PLDT is also building for the future. The team drafted Alleiah Malaluan from De La Salle University and Zenneth Perolino from Enderun Colleges, injecting youth, energy, and fresh perspective into an already cohesive core. Malaluan’s championship mindset and Perolino’s adaptability bring balance to a squad anchored by seasoned stars Kath Arado, Mika Reyes, Majoy Baron, Dell Palomata, Kim Fajardo, and Kianna Dy.

With experience meeting ambition, the High Speed Hitters now boast one of the most complete lineups in the league — a fusion of veteran wisdom and youthful drive. Ricafort promises fans the same grit and passion that have defined PLDT’s rise. “This is a difficult conference, but we’ll give everything, every game,” he said.

Poised for a historic grand slam, the High Speed Hitters are not just chasing another title — they’re aiming to define a legacy.
