The SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena once again proved why it is the country’s premier stage for world-class entertainment and cultural milestones. This August, the venue came alive with two unforgettable events that captivated fans and audiences alike—the much-anticipated return of South Korean superstar Park Bo Gum and the glittering coronation night of Miss Grand International Philippines 2025.

Park Bo Gum’s Homecoming

Filipino fans waited six years to once again welcome the “Prince of Asia,” Park Bo Gum, and the SM MOA Arena delivered the perfect setting for his emotional comeback. On August 22, the acclaimed actor and musician held his “Be With You” fan meeting, an event that fused nostalgia, artistry, and fan connection.

Set against the imaginative theme of a train journey—with Park as the captain—audiences were treated to a creative ride through his career. From soulful musical performances to highlights from his iconic dramas “When Life Gives You Tangerines” and “Good Boy,” every moment resonated with fans. The evening’s most memorable part came during the Hi-Bye session, where lucky attendees got the chance to experience a warm, personal farewell from the actor himself.

A Night of Beauty and Elegance

Just two nights later, on August 24, the spotlight shifted from K-drama royalty to pageant queens as the Miss Grand International Philippines 2025 coronation filled the arena with glamour and excitement. With 29 contestants vying for the crown, the competition was fierce, but only 15 advanced to the final stages.

The audience was treated to breathtaking moments in the swimsuit showcase, the evening gown parade, and the decisive Q&A round. Adding an electrifying beat to the night were performances by rising boy groups 1621BC and One Verse, whose energy heightened the celebratory atmosphere.

Ultimately, Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga emerged victorious, capturing the crown and the honor of representing the Philippines in the global Miss Grand International pageant this October in Thailand.
