BingoPlus Foundation Races to Aid Storm-Hit Cavite

In the wake of severe flooding brought by Typhoon Crising, DigiPlus Interactive Corp. and its social development arm, BingoPlus Foundation, have launched rapid-response relief operations to aid affected communities in Cavite. As part of their ₱5 million commitment to typhoon relief, the foundation has already provided essential supplies to nearly 1,500 families in Imus and Kawit, with more support underway.

Following Cavite’s declaration of a State of Calamity, the Foundation, in partnership with Imus Councilor Mark Villanueva and barangay officials, distributed 400 food relief packs to storm-affected families across Barangays Poblacion 4A, Poblacion 4B, Malagasang 2B, and Anabu F. With 55 additional packs from the local government, a total of 455 families received immediate support.

In Kawit, Cavite, BingoPlus Foundation extended aid to 1,000 families through a ₱450,000 food relief donation, carried out in partnership with ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya. This initiative falls under a broader ₱2 million relief program established in 2024, reflecting the Foundation’s long-term commitment to disaster response and community resilience.

“Our mission has always been to act swiftly and compassionately during times of crisis,” said Angela Camins-Wieneke, Executive Director of BingoPlus Foundation. “It’s not just about the goods—it’s about giving people hope, even in the most uncertain moments.”

Next week, the Foundation will deliver 100 cabans of rice to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) National Resource Operations Center in Pasay City, enough to feed over 800 more families. More than 50 DigiPlus employees have volunteered to help repack and distribute relief, showing the company’s hands-on approach and dedication to social impact.

DigiPlus’ brands—BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone—continue to fuel these initiatives through their commercial success, allowing the company to reinvest in the communities that need it most. The Foundation has also mobilized resources for upcoming relief missions in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, and North Luzon.

Camins-Wieneke emphasized that the response goes beyond emergency aid: “This is about staying the course and supporting Filipinos not just in crisis, but as they rebuild. Together, we rise.”

With every pack delivered and every hand extended, DigiPlus and BingoPlus Foundation remain firmly committed to standing by the Filipino people—especially when it matters most.
