GameZone Makes History with First-Ever P10M Tongits Tournament

Tongits players gathered on stage for the GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup (GTCC): Summer Showdown

GameZone, the country’s newest rising name in Tongits, has made its mark by hosting the historic GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup (GTCC): Summer Showdown, the first large-scale Tongits tournament of its kind in the Philippines. Held from June 12 to 15 in Makati City, the tournament drew nationwide attention with its impressive P10 million prize pool and a unique format that combined online and on-ground gameplay for the first time.

The five-day competition brought together 135 of the country’s top Tongits players, who qualified through GameZone’s Tongits Free Multi-Table Tournament, which ran from April 25 to May 16. After intense rounds of eliminations, the top three players advanced to the grand finals where they faced off in a grueling 100-round championship battle for the P5 million grand prize.
