At HAVAS Ortega, empowering women isn’t just a month-long campaign—it’s a commitment embedded in the agency’s culture. This commitment came to life through HAVASister, a progressive and inclusive program launched during Women’s Month, but designed with the long-term goal of cultivating a more supportive and equitable environment for women in the workplace and beyond.
The HAVASister program served as both a celebration and a call to action, bringing together employees, industry partners, and thought leaders through a series of dynamic sessions that tackled real-yworld issues facing women today. Male employees were encouraged to actively participate as allies—“brothers” to their female colleagues—creating a united front for gender inclusivity.

The series opened with “Breaking Glass Ceilings,” where Rosario Cajucom-Bradbury recounted her inspiring climb from telephone operator to CEO. Her journey highlighted the impact of resilience, mentorship, and courage in overcoming gender barriers in leadership.
One of the most talked-about events was “Queens of Console,” held in partnership with gaming and esports giant Ampverse. This interactive session spotlighted female gamers, breaking stereotypes and celebrating the growing space for women in gaming through engaging discussions and live challenges.
Health and wellness were also front and center in “Empowered Wellness,” a session co-hosted with Lockton that delved into PCOS and reproductive health challenges. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of these conditions and actionable insights on self-care and advocacy.
In “Understanding Neurodiversity Diagnoses in the Case of Women,” a collaboration with Graymatters shed light on how neurodiverse conditions often present differently in women—prompting a conversation on inclusive practices and better support systems in the workplace.
Finally, the session “Vaccines for Every Life, for Every Stage of Life,” in partnership with Kindred, tackled preventive care and HPV vaccination, reinforcing the importance of informed health decisions across all genders.
“Our vision with HAVASister was to build a platform that supports, uplifts, and educates women throughout the year—not just in March,” said Nina Estenzo, Business Director at HAVAS Ortega. “The conversations we’ve started and the connections we’ve made are just the beginning.”
By fostering a culture of empathy, awareness, and allyship, HAVASister reflects HAVAS Ortega’s broader mission: to build a workplace where every woman feels seen, heard, and empowered—every day of the year.
