The launch event was a spectacular showcase of sports, culture, and community, bringing together athletes, fans, and artists for an unforgettable celebration.
A Grand Kickoff: Dance, Inspiration, and Sportsmanship
The evening opened with a powerful performance by the National University (NU) Dance Company, setting the stage for an exhilarating night. SM Supermalls President Steven Tan then took the stage, delivering an inspiring speech on the vision behind MOA Sky and its impact on the community.
“The MOA Sky isn’t just an expansion; it’s a transformation of how we experience sports and entertainment. With world-class facilities, we are bringing the community together in a space where every experience is bigger and bolder,” he shared.

A visually captivating MOA Sky introduction video followed, offering guests a glimpse into the stunning venue and its cutting-edge facilities.
A Tour of World-Class Sports Facilities
The highlight of the event was the MOA Sky Tour, where attendees explored different sports-themed attractions. The first stop was the MOA Football Pitch, a FIFA-grade stadium with an 1,800-seat capacity, where the Filipinas, the Philippine women’s national football team, took center stage. Their presence electrified the crowd, sparking excitement for the future of football in the country.

Next, guests visited the MOA Sanctuary, an urban oasis set to debut its exhibition in March. The serene space, featuring a prayer and art gallery, serves as a retreat for athletes and visitors alike, emphasizing the importance of mental wellness in sports.
The tour then led to North Sky Plaza, where renowned Filipino-American artist Jefre unveiled 12 four-meter-tall Zodiac-themed art installations, blending art with athletic inspiration.

Sustainability, Pet-Friendly Fun, and Community Engagement
MOA Sky also highlights SM Prime’s commitment to sustainability, showcased in the 3-megawatt solar photovoltaic rooftop, a major step towards eco-friendly sports infrastructure.
For pet-loving athletes and visitors, the 577-square-meter Paw Park was a hit, featuring an exhibition by Dalbong, the Philippine Corgi that won a world title at the 2023 World Dog Show in Switzerland.

The South Plaza served as a hub of artistic expression, with live mural painting by local artists such as Jouache Panaligan, Erwin Grino, Rai Cruz, and AC Bautista, merging creativity with sports culture.

A Night to Remember: Music, Fireworks, and a Thrilling Match As the sun set, the celebration reached new heights with a concert at the MOA Amphitheater, featuring Adie, Hale, and December Avenue. The energy soared as fireworks lit up the sky, followed by a mesmerizing drone show that led fans back to the MOA Football Pitch for the night’s main event.

The Filipinas Exhibition Football Game was the grand finale, showcasing the team’s speed, skill, and teamwork. A second drone display at halftime made the night even more magical, cementing the event as a milestone for Philippine sports.

A New Icon for Sports and Entertainment
The MOA Sky launch was more than just an event—it was a statement of SM Supermalls’ dedication to elevating Philippine sports and community experiences.
