LG Unveils Groundbreaking GX9 Gaming Monitors at CES 2025

LG Electronics has redefined the gaming experience with the launch of its UltraGear™ GX9 series at CES 2025, headlined by the world’s first bendable 5K2K OLED gaming monitor, the 45GX990A. Winning three CES Innovation Awards, including the coveted “Best of Innovation,” the GX9 lineup solidifies LG’s reputation as a leader in premium gaming monitors. The 45-inch UltraGear 45GX990A boasts a remarkable 5K2K resolution (5,120 x 2,160) and a customizable 21:9 aspect ratio. Its standout feature is the ability to seamlessly transition from flat to a 900R curvature, giving users greater control over their setup. Paired with an ultra-fast 0.03ms (GtG) response time and advanced Dual-Mode functionality—offering eight customizable resolution and refresh-rate presets—this monitor is perfect for FPS, RPG, and MOBA games. Certified by NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro, it ensures smooth gameplay with minimal screen tearing.

Also in the spotlight is the LG UltraGear 45GX950A, featuring the same 5K2K resolution and a striking 800R curvature. This model provides sharp images, exceptional contrast, and improved readability, thanks to its RGWB subpixel layout. Its slim bezels and virtually borderless design enhance immersion, while support for DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C with 90W power delivery ensures compatibility with the latest graphics cards and devices.

The GX9 series also includes the UltraGear 39GX90SA, a smart gaming monitor powered by LG’s webOS platform.
