The “Think Rice Think Thailand” campaign at the World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2024 concluded with resounding success, highlighting the exceptional quality and rich flavors of Thai rice. Held from July 31 to August 3, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, the event showcased Thailand’s premier rice and rice productvarieties, reinforcing its culinary heritage and strengthening economic ties with the Philippines.

The “Think Rice Think Thailand” booth No. 1075, Hall 4, became a focal point for attendees, offering an immersive experience into the world of Thai rice. Supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Department of Foreign Trade (DFT) under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, through the Thai Trade Center in Manila, the event underscored Thailand’s commitment to quality and excellence.

Another major attraction at the booth was the diverse range of premium Thai rice varieties on display, including Thai white rice, Thai fragrant rice, and the internationally acclaimed Thai Hom Mali rice, known for its soft, long grains, floral aroma, and exceptional flavor. Visitors were particularly drawn to the exclusive event pricing offered by Thai rice exporters and Philippine importers, which provided a unique opportunity to purchase high-quality Thai rice and enhance their culinary creations.

In addition to the rice and rice productshowcase, the booth featured engaging cooking demonstrations by acclaimed Thai SELECT restaurants in Metro Manila, such as Benjarong, Azuthai, Nara Thai Cuisine, Thai BBQ Original Restaurant, Greyhound CaféPhilippines, and Mango Tree.
